Scale 286 homes
Status Complete
The Maple forms a key part of Brent Cross Town, delivering 286 Build to Rent homes across three buildings.
Designed by Allies & Morrison, the scheme brings together a mix of studios, apartments and maisonettes, alongside a new neighbourhood square animated by cafés and restaurants. With a strong emphasis on lifestyle and long-term living, the brief centred on creating a high-quality residential offer supported by generous shared amenities and efficient, future-focused delivery.
We worked alongside Galliford Try to oversee the delivery of the concept design, ensuring design quality and intent were maintained from concept through to construction.
Our role focused on coordinating structure, façades and building services within a complex, multi-building scheme. By taking a proactive, collaborative approach, we aligned design ambition with buildability, programme and performance.
Modern methods of construction were central to the project. In partnership with PCE Ltd, the hyTower system was used to deliver the structure, incorporating over 4,500 off-site manufactured components. This included precast concrete and steel elements, alongside prefabricated bathroom pods and bolt-on balconies—improving consistency, reducing on-site time, and enhancing overall quality.
Internally and externally, the scheme was designed to support a more flexible way of living. Residents benefit from a wide range of shared amenities, including a leisure pool, gym, coworking spaces and rooftop terrace—spaces that encourage connection, wellbeing and everyday convenience.
The Maple demonstrates how a coordinated, technically robust approach can unlock the full potential of Build to Rent living at scale.
By integrating off-site manufacturing with careful design coordination, the project delivers quality, efficiency and long-term value—creating a place where residents can live, work and connect as part of a thriving new neighbourhood.
