Conductor House (Plot 12)

Brent Cross Town

Setting the standard for Affordable Living at Brent Cross Town

Client Related Argent / JRL Midgard Ltd

Project Role Executive Architects

Scale 120 homes

Status Complete

As Executive Architects, we played a key role in delivering Conductor House, the first completed plot in the regeneration of Brent Cross Town.

Developed by Related Argent and managed by L&Q, the scheme provides 120 affordable homes across two buildings, alongside 5,800 sq ft of commercial space. Designed with accessibility and sustainability at its core, it offers modern homes for local residents, including shared ownership opportunities.

Our role spanned Stage 3 design through to Stages 4–5 delivery with JRL Midgard, alongside an Architectural Client Monitoring role for Related Argent, ensuring quality, compliance and design intent were maintained throughout.

A key challenge was integrating modern methods of construction into a traditional brick façade. Careful coordination of elements such as bathroom pods and GRC surrounds enabled efficient delivery without compromising design quality.

Working closely with stakeholders, including L&Q and occupational therapists, we incorporated bespoke adaptations into 16% of homes to support accessibility. The project also exceeds standard regulations, with enhanced fire safety, BREEAM Very Good commercial units, and alignment with the Flourishing Index.

Conductor House sets a strong benchmark for inclusive, sustainable affordable housing and marks a significant milestone in the Brent Cross Town masterplan.
