Stepping Out for Sheffield 1000: Whittam Cox Architects takes on the Dronfield Rotary Walk

by Anna Lingard
Marketing Manager

We’re proud to announce that our team will be taking on the Dronfield Rotary Walk on Thursday 25th September, raising money in support of local cause Sheffield 1000, one of our valued corporate charity partners.

This annual event brings our people together to enjoy the outdoors while making a positive impact in the local community. With our headquarters ideally located on the edge of the Peak District, the Dronfield Rotary Walk is right on our doorstep, a perfect opportunity for colleagues to come together, take on the challenge, and give back to a cause that matters.

Our team will tackle routes of varying lengths, before coming together afterwards at our office for a celebratory BBQ and drinks, a chance to reflect on the day and toast our fundraising efforts.

Since partnering with Sheffield 1000 we’re proud that our fundraising activities, including this year’s walk, will have raised over £10,000 in less than 18 months to support causes across the city and beyond.

Sheffield 1000, co-founded by TV Presenter and Sheffield Resident Dan Walker, exists to support a diverse range of initiatives that make a real difference to people and communities who need it most.

“The Dronfield Rotary Walk is a fantastic opportunity for our team to come together outside the office, challenge ourselves, and most importantly, raise money for a charity that’s very close to our hearts. We’re excited to play our part and contribute to the great work Sheffield 1000 is doing.”
