We’re pleased to share that Exchange Works in Sheffield has been shortlisted for Interior Design of the Year at the Property Week Student Accommodation Awards 2026.

Working closely with Now Student Living, our Interior Design team transformed the communal spaces at Exchange Works into a welcoming and characterful environment shaped around student life. Inspired by the concept of ‘Sun & Stone’, the design combines natural textures, warm tones and flexible spaces to create a strong sense of identity while supporting how students’ study, socialise and connect.

The transformation was shaped around how students genuinely use the building. From focused study areas and relaxed social spaces to a cinema room and private dining facilities, every element has been considered to help residents feel comfortable, connected and at home.

“We’re incredibly proud to see Exchange Works recognised at this year’s Student Accommodation Awards. Our ambition was to create spaces that feel welcoming, characterful and genuinely useful to the students who call the building home. The project was shaped through close collaboration with Now Student Living and a shared commitment to improving the resident experience. Seeing the positive response from students, alongside the strong results achieved since completion, makes this recognition particularly meaningful for everyone involved.”
