Ready to take a leading role on high-profile, large-scale and complex residential-led projects, where you will work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team?
We’re a large, multi-disciplinary and award-winning architectural practice, and a RIBA Chartered Practice, with a growing reputation for innovative, sustainable, design-led buildings across a range of sectors.
Our London studio is expanding, and we’re looking for a Senior Architect / Project Lead.
The role
You’ll play a key role in leading the design and delivery of complex residential-led projects, working closely with Project Directors, Associate Directors and consultant teams to achieve successful outcomes.
We’re looking for an ambitious architect with strong design and technical capability who is comfortable working across all RIBA work stages, from concept and masterplanning through to construction and completion.
You’ll be able to see the whole project, balancing design quality, technical delivery, coordination and stakeholder expectations to keep projects moving forward.
What you'll be doing
You’ll work alongside a wider multi-disciplinary team, while also supporting the development of more junior colleagues.
In practice, you’ll:
- Lead the design and delivery of large complex, residential led projects across all RIBA work stages
- Coordinate multiple concurrent worksteams, working closely with structural, MEP and other specialist consultants
- Develop high quality architectural solutions from concept through to technical delivery and construction
- Build strong relationships with clients, local authorities, consultants and project stakeholders representing the practice with confidence
- Help manage project programmes, coordination and technical risk to ensure successful delivery
- Provide guidance, mentorship and support junior colleagues
- Champion design quality, sustainability and innovation throughout the project lifecycle
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects across all RIBA work stages
- Strong Revit proficiency and a solid understanding of UK planning, Building Regulations and technical standards
- Able to see the wider project picture, balancing design quality, programme, coordination and commercial priorities
- Strong design and technical capability, with confidence solving complex project challenges
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and working in client-facing and stakeholder environments
- An interest in sustainability, innovation and emerging trends in residential design
Just as important as your experience is how you work with people.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys supporting colleagues, builds positive relationships with clients and consultants, and communicates with clarity and confidence.
