In all our work we influence the built environment, how people live and work. In addition to having this direct impact on people, we like to support them.
Throughout our work we influence the built environment, how people live and work. We’re passionately committed to reducing the environmental impact of what we do as designers. As part of this commitment we are ISO 14001 accredited.
Some of our projects help to build communities and connect people, in addition we like to support them.
We organise many charity events and raise funds annually for great causes – recently we raised an outstanding £15,000. Our employees are given the opportunity to work as volunteers, spending time to engage with and support the charities on a more personal level.
We also work with schools, colleges and universities. Students come to us for work experience and a wide range of education-linked employment programmes. Alongside this we promote internal training, mentoring and coaching and encourage our own people to take part in continuous professional development.
As part of our commitment to employee wellbeing we encourage a healthy and sustainable work/life balance, healthy eating and sports activity. There are always opportunities to participate in sport events such as Friday football, sponsored runs, cycle rides, triathlons, fell runs, climbs, the Tough Mudder and even sky diving! We support the ‘Cycle to Work’ initiative and we have also forged close working relationships and sponsorship links with local sports clubs; both professional and amateur.
