Acting as architects across the programme, we translate Asda’s ambition for accessible neighbourhood retail into compact, efficient spaces. Each store is carefully planned to deliver a comprehensive product range within tightly considered footprints, often on constrained urban sites. We design around real patterns of movement, how customers enter, browse, queue and leave, ensuring stores feel intuitive, welcoming and easy to navigate.

Beyond the retail floor, we integrate the services that now define convenience. Parcel collection and returns, and Uber Eats delivery are embedded seamlessly into the layout, enabling stores to operate as local service hubs as well as places to shop. Every decision balances customer experience with operational efficiency, buildability and programme certainty.

Many sites are tight, busy and logistically complex, with restricted access and live surroundings. Our team brings the technical rigour and delivery experience required to maintain safety and high quality design, whilst meeting demanding rollout targets.
